When I made the decision to join the Civitan organization twenty years ago it was simply to help those less fortunate than myself in my local community. I had absolutely no aspirations of ever seeking any higher offices. That quickly changed as I continued to take on more key leadership roles at the club, district and international level. Civitan has become one of my passions in life. Working with other Civitans to enhance the lives of many individuals has enriched my life, and that is something for which I am truly thankful. I am also very grateful for the acquaintances and friendships which I have made with Civitans from all over the World. I have indeed been blessed by the associations I have made as a Civitan. These blessings are why I am a candidate for Civitan International President-Elect. My goal, if elected, is to leave this organization stronger than the day I found it. I will lead with enthusiasm and with dedication to the ideals and principles of the Civitan Creed. This is my pledge to you.
